Product overview

Now if you were going to get into an MMA ring or cage, and you asked me what martial art you should learn first, I definitely would not say Krav Maga. I would say Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling and Muay Thai first, definitely one of those three – but if you asked me what martial art should you learn for street fights and life or death situations, then I would definitely suggest Krav Maga worldwide as one of the top options.

guy_Krav Maga_In_No_Time MMA Gateway UFC ReviewBut with any martial arts training, you first need to get the right instructor and course to work with. So in today’s post we are going to look at the details of Krav Maga as a whole, and who I think has a quality and affordable course for you to start learning from the comfort of your home.

Now I must stress, that today will be a review of an online training course and remember that as with any training its up to you to practice physically what you learn, by going to actual classes in your local area.

But you need the knowledge first, and that’s what I’m here to help with -so we will look at a variety of different Krav Maga systems in a series of posts, and today we start with the Krav Maga in No Time System.

But first if your if your completely new to Krav Maga, then I will give you some background, and you should watch this video from the creator of the Krav Maga in no time system Guy Dar, who is an Israeli Krav Maga 8th Dan master –

What is Krav Maga?

Krav Maga is a military self-defence system, which was developed for the Israeli military and security services. It consists of a combination of martial arts, from Boxing, Wrestling, Akido, Judo and Karate.

Krav Maga is known for its focus on real life, live fire situations, extreme efficiency and devastating counter attacks that literally can be the difference between life or death in many cases.575px-Gun_threat_Lsoderst_guy_Krav Maga_In_No_Time MMA Gateway UFC Review

From day one, Krav Maga is based on the concept of taking the most basic and practical techniques from other martial arts, and to then make them easily teachable to military, security services and anyone who wants to learn.

Krav Maga really has an emphasis on aggression as well as simultaneous offensive and defensive manoeuvres, focusing on disabling ones opponent as quick as possible.

Krav Maga is widely considered one of the best weapon disablement martial arts in the world which is predominantly why not only Israeli, but also UK and US special forces and intelligence agencies around the world teach Krav Maga to their soldiers and agents.

Because lets be honest, in the ring someone wants to beat you up, but in street fights or in warfare conflicts involving weaponry, your opponent might want to kill you literally, so the ability to disarm your opponent is crucial!

MMA legend Bas Rutten has voiced his support of the effectiveness of Krav Maga, and even utilised some of it in his own self-defence training courses.

Who created the martial art?

412px-Grand_masters_small_talkKrav Maga_In No Time MMA Gateway UFC ReviewSo everything has its history, everything began somewhere and while Krav Maga does not have thousands of years of history like all the most famous martial arts, lets look at its origins.

Krav Maga was created by the street fighting experience of Hungarian-Israeli martial artist Imi Lichtenfeld, who utilised his boxing and wrestling experience to defend Jews in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia in the mid 1930s, which was an area with a lot of conflict and political unrest at the time.

Litchenfeld found that actual fighting was very different from competition fighting, and despite the strength of Boxing and Wrestling, he found that these disciplines were not always practical for the aggressive and brutal nature of street fighting.

So at that point he started to reevaluate his concepts about fighting, and started developing the skills and techniques that would eventually become Krav Maga.

In 1948, when the state of Israel was founded and the IDF (Israeli Defense Forces) was formed, Litchenfeld was appointed chief instructor for Physical Fitness and Krav Maga at the IDF school of combat fitness.

My favourite parts of Krav Maga.

  1. Blending of forms – Well firstly as Bruce Lee proved in his life, the most effective types of martial arts in real time are a blend of all the different forms to suit the scenario, so without question Krav Maga fits this bill, by drawing from many of the most effective martial arts ever formulated. This alone should be a reason for anyone to get familiar with some element of Krav Maga training whether as a hobby or as a serious profession.
  2. This isn’t a game – Secondly like I mentioned in the title, Krav Maga is really designed to disable your opponent asKrav Maga In No Time_MMA_Gateway_UFC_Review quickly and effectively as possible in a life or death situation. Because if someone wants to stab or shoot you, then acting quickly and decisively is crucial in being able to survive the ordeal, so Krav Maga gives those who practise it the ability to give themselves the chance to survive the worst of situations that life can throw at you. Krav Maga is not a sport, Krav Maga is literally a life saver for many people around the world everyday.
  3. The efficiency of movement – That’s really what Krav Maga is about, learning efficiency of movement to suppress a dangerous situation, and look if someone is trying to hold a knife to your throat, stab you or hurt you with some kind of weapon, then you will need to have efficiency of movement built into your muscle memory. As one of the readers on this website I personally want you to have these abilities if a life or death situation is to occur in your life.

Pros

  • There is a lot of video and eBook material for teh price, and there is a good amount of detail to teh cocurse generally.
  • Very affordable price for many people at just $57.
  • Genuine training from a real life high level Krav Maga expert like Guy Dar.
  •  Before you join a Krav Maga school in your local area, this Krav Maga In No Time system will give you all the terminology and knowledge of how to apply high level Krav Maga techniques – meaning you will be way more prepared then most people for your first real class, so with this system you can learn to walk before you run in the comfort of your home.

  • 60 day money back guarantee is pretty amazing, a lot of companies still only give 30 days. I mean you shouldn’t need to use it because its a good course, but if you need to get a refund its a good length of time that you have to get your money back.
  • Guaranteed to improve your knowledge of defending yourself in general, and especially from being attacked by someone who has a weapon.
  • The videos in particular are direct and to the point, no long winded seminar style speeches, just simple, practical breakdowns and real life examples of utilising Krav Maga techniques.
  • Like Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, Krav Maga is particularly supportive for kids and women to learn, given the martial arts focus on technique and leverage ahead of physical strength – and also given the fact that in today’s world, on the whole children and women are more likely to get randomly attacked by someone on the street.

Cons

  • While the training package offered for the price is good, I expected more package variety options, and more ongoing access to new products and techniques.
  • I”m a bit “old school” so i tend to prefer my products being tangible, something i can feel and hold in my hands, instead of only digital products. But having said that, I also pay over £100 a month on TV bills and how much does that TV help in life or death situations?
  • A bit more interaction with Guy Dar would have been good, but you get what you pay for and he wont offer anymore.

Conclusion.

So look I’m not going to tell you that Krav Maga In No Time is a perfect training course to learn Krav Maga, because its not. But it is a great start –

  1. Hello there! I see that you are promoting Krav maga and to be honest I like the concept of disarming your opponent so that he may not be able to kill you. This is very crucial between life and death and usually it is only determined by an inch. Learning something through videos especially self defense can be a bit off for me because the presence of the mentor is very important. Yes, you can learn through watching but the wisdom is important so I would suggest that if someone buys this digital course, they should put it into practice so that it will manifest in them what they had learned in the course. 🙂

    • Hi Anfernee, glad you like the sound of Krav Maga and this course – i also agree when you say that the best learning is with a mentor. But as i point out in this post – before you start physical training you need to get the knowledge and that’s what this course will do for you – but knowledge without application is useless.

If your looking to come to an event sometime, you should check out this post

      Thanks for your feedback!

  3. Awesome. I have always wanted to learn Krav Maga. This course is actually pretty cheap for what I was expecting. These courses tend to be pretty expensive generally for a small amount of training. Krav mama has always sounded like it is the best self defense training for any sort of real life scenario.

    • Hey Austin, yeah definitely Krav Maga is one of the best Martial arts for the worst of real life situations, and as you can see this Krav Maga In No Time course is really cheap to get a full education on Krav Maga techniques.

But make sure your cardio is on point if you want to start training

Thanks for your feedback, see you again!

  4. I really like all the content and the way its been presented. I have never heard of krav maga before, a very interesting read though with plenty of information and insight to the history of this art.

  5. Well thank you so much for this I know I do the day that made these type of videos or video games. I think that these are awesome and they are much needed. It is one thing to go about and learn something in your head or by the book. But when you are faced with real life situations that is when you learn the truth of whether you really have your art down packed or not. I think this is an awesome idea. And thank you for this great review of this product.

    • Hey Michelle, dam you must be my number one person for comments right now lol – i can tell you like this Krav Maga course and let me tell you its amazing for women to learn as many women i have trained with would tell you.

  6. One of the things I always wanted to do was to take some sort of martial arts class to get better at self defense.

I think it is important to learn how to defend yourself in case of situations where someone might attempt to jump you. That being said, I would probably want to try one system such as this one for disarming others.

My question is, in terms of defending yourself, would you say that this is the best system to go for or is there another one that you would recommend I try?

    • Hi Arie, well if you have thought about learning martial arts its because naturally your body is wanting it – Krav Maga is a great base for anyone to learn because it is great for all situations, and if you want to avoid fighting, this martial art will give you the ability to disable an armed opponent quickly so you can diffuse the situation and get away.

This is one of the best course for building your knowledge of martial arts in general so try it, but ultimately you should look for a local gym to you because the best training is putting hard work, blood, sweat and tears in with training partners on that matts or in the ring.

You should also read this book to understand more about a successful fighters philosophy.

      Thanks for your feedback!

  7. MDthefirst, thank you for sharing such insightful information.

In today’s times, you never know if you might need to protect yourself from those bent on destroying others.
It’s good to know people like you are out there trying to help others stay safe. By your adding such information, you are allowing others to help protect themselves from this type of mentality.

Thanks again for the information, it’s useful and informative.

    RitaAnn~

    • Hi Rita, thanks for your feedback! Like you say in today’s world you really never know when you might need to defend yourself in a situation – It is my passion in life to educate people in improving themselves as people, and Martial arts is a huge cornerstone of that!

Speaking of protection, have a look at this mouthguard it provides better protection and movement then any mouth guard i have seen!

      See you again!

  8. I don’t know how to defend myself when it comes to Martial Arts but in boxing maybe..lol. Anyway, I like the way how detailed your review here with this product Krav Maga.

Well, if I search this product online or in youtube can I find one that is most likely of this product. Because some of it is almost online that you can watch it along for free. What do you think?

    • Hi Julius, well at least you know some boxing! Its one of the best bases to have as a martial artist.

But Krav Maga is unique for getting out of the worst of situations, i strongly suggest you buy the course if your interested, but you will not be able to get access to all the videos on you tube.

Also check out this great elliptical trainer to stay in top shape!

      Thanks for dropping by!
